Signing Up

Signing up at a Social Club using KingsLeaf Social Club Systems is super easy, and can be done on any device, from anywhere.

The Basics

To get started, you will need to fill in a form with your personal identifying information and contact details, upload a selfie and a copy of your ID or Driver’s License if you are South African or Passport if you are not. You will also choose a password.

You will need to read and agree to the Social Club Rules and Member Agreement.

Once the serious stuff is dealt with, you will receive a verification email with an OTP. You will use this OTP to sign in for the first time.

Some functions will remain locked until you Verify your Identity and pay your Membership Fees on your first visit to your Social Club.

Info We Need

We need some basic personal info from you when you sign up. We keep all your personal info safe and secure, and we have a strict Privacy Policy in place.

Personal Identifying Info

We need to know who you are, that you are an adult (18+), and what you look like. To get that right, we need you to provide the following Personal Identifying Information about yourself:

• Name and Surname - to know who you are
• ID Number / Passport Number - to make sure you are an adult
• Copy of your ID or Driver’s License (South Africans Only) / Copy of your Passport (Foreigners) - to make sure you say you are who you are
• Selfie - to recognise you. No-one wants to look like they do in their ID pics!

IMPORTANT: Bring your valid ID / Driver’s License / Passport with you the first time you visit your Social Club. You have to bring the real document, not a photo or a copy.

Contact Details

• Email - to send your OTP when you sign up, to contact you, to send you updates and invoices, and to verify any updates you may make
• Contact Number - to contact you, and to send you updates

You can choose what kinds of emails you receive from your Social Club and from KingsLeaf Social Club Systems. You can also decide what kinds of messages you receive via WhatsApp, and what groups you are added to.

Membership Fees

A small Membership Fee is payable either by cash or card at your Social Club. Membership is valid for 30 days and must be paid in order for you to access the privacy of your Social Club and enjoy your Constitutional Right. You can renew your Membership on a pay-as-you-go basis. There are no late fees or penalties - you simply pay when you are able to enjoy your Social Club.

When you do not pay your Membership Fees, you become an Inactive Member, and you can no longer access the privacy of your Social Club. You can Reactivate your Membership at any time by paying your Membership Fees again. This makes you an Active Member, and you can access the privacy of your Social Club and Share at the BudBar.

When you pay your Membership Fees, you only pay for the next 30 days. There are no late fees or penalties. Your Social Club will never ask you to pay Membership Fees for any time that you are an Inactive Member.

IMPORTANT: You can pay your Membership Fees directly at your Social Club. Be sure to check with your chosen Social Club how much Membership Fees are as these are not controlled by KingsLeaf Social Club Systems.

Cancelling Membership

You can easily cancel your Membership at any time for any reason. There is an option on your Member Profile to do this.

KingsLeaf Social Club Systems will also delete your Personal Identifying Information once you cancel your Membership. This means that you will need to provide all necessary Personal Identifying Information again if you choose to join another Social Club using KingsLeaf Social Club Systems at a later date.

Suspending / Terminating Membership

When signing up, you agree to follow your Social Club Rules. Breaking these can lead to your Membership being Suspended or Terminated (Banned), depending on what you do wrong.

Your Social Clubs has the final say on whether a Member is Suspended or Banned (Terminated). Be respectful, treat other Members with kindness, look after the furniture, rigs, bongs, games, and each other, and everything will be just fine.

Social Club Rules

Members Only

No person is permitted to enter this Social Club without becoming a Member first. Adults (18+) can sign up online or at a Social Club using KingsLeaf Social Club Systems.

Privacy

Only Active Members may enter the private space of this Social Club - if Membership Fees are not up to date, you are considered an Inactive Member until your Membership Fee is paid, making you an Active Member.

Law enforcement officials MUST provide a valid warrant and be familiar with the 2023 Police Directive on Cannabis-related Matters before seeking entry to this Social Club for any reason whatsoever.

Respect & Kindness

Everyone is welcome at this Social Club. We ask that all Members agree to respect each other and to treat each other with kindness at all times.

This Social Club has a zero tolerance policy for disrespect, bullying, harassment, and discrimination of any kind. Disrespectful behaviour toward any Member and/or Crew Member can result in your Membership being suspended or terminated.

Consent

All Members consent to being exposed to the presence and use of cannabis within the privacy of this Social Club when signing up and signing in.

All Members agree to respect the consent / non-consent of fellow Members.

Photos / Videos

No photos or videos may be taken of any Social Club Members or Crew Members without their express consent in this Social Club.

Members are always welcome to photograph or record themselves at this Social Club. However, it is always best to make sure fellow Members are comfortable being recorded in any way, especially if you plan to share any photos and videos online. Not everyone likes being photographed or recorded, and some still like to keep their cannabis use private.

Footage recorded on Social Club security cameras / CCTV for the safety of Members and this Social Club is kept strictly secured, in accordance with POPIA and other relevant legislation.

Sharing

Members can Share in their collectively owned cannabis at the BudBar once signed in at Reception.

Some Social Clubs allow Members to bring and enjoy and/or share their own. Be sure to check with your Social Club about the policy around this.

Dealing of any kind is strictly prohibited.

No Alcohol / Illicit Substances

This Social Club reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who shows up drunk. This Social Club may also ask you to leave any alcohol you may with you in your vehicle. This Social Club may ask you to leave if you bring alcohol onto the premises.

The possession and use of any illicit substances is strictly prohibited at this Social Club. This Social Club reserves the right to refuse you entry if you are under the influence of any illicit substances.

No Firearms or Dangerous Weapons

No firearms or dangerous weapons are allowed on the premises of this Social Club.

Members may keep self-defence weapons like pepper spray and safety keychains concealed in their bags at all times while visiting this Social Club.

As a Member, you agree to not hold this Social Club, its Crew Members, Owners, or Directors, or KingsLeaf Social Club Systems liable for any damages, loss, theft, injury, or death suffered by any person whatsoever arising.
